At least 129 illegal buildings standing on Ciliwung River around Tugu Tani until Jalan Kali Pasir, will be demolished soon. As planned, an inspection road would be built on the location.

Kebon Sirih Urban Village Head, Rachmat Ismail stated the demolishment is slated to be conducted after the residents get flat units.

According to him, eventually along 7.5 m of the river will be freed from illegal building thus the existing inspection road could be connected.
"We have held socialization and listened the residents' opinion. We hope, they could be relocated in the near future," he uttered.
